Abbott founder Jose Alvarez fell in love with nature at a young age, growing up in Nicaragua in a family of coffee growers. Surrounded by lush forests and wildflowers, he learned to connect those scents with the beauty of the environment and the memories they shaped. Abbott was born in New York from Jose’s profound need to escape the city for journeys into nature, creating a line of fragrances with “city escape artists” in mind. Each clean fragrance is designed to capture the essence and memories of inspiring natural places, serving as a daily reminder of the beauty that exists around us.
